The single lamp needs the right ballastThe HPS ceramic 600W lamp ballast kit provides producers with the flexibility to operate this popular lamp with their existing reflector.
The ceramic HPS can take up to 20 minutes to reach full power, so it must be run on an EYE HORTILUX ballast.
The silver EYE HORTILUX ballast, included in this package, is the same ballast used in the SE 600 growth light system. This ballast allows for the 20-minute sunrise function, providing the lamp with plenty of time to reach full power.
