The high perlite content and peat moss increase air porosity and reduce water retention, which favors the leaching of fertilizer salts during the growing cycle and decreases water-related problems that can cause root diseases, algae, and fungus gnats. This blend can be used directly from the bag or as part of a custom mix. When using Procision Advantage, water more frequently than you would with a general-purpose peat mix. HOW TO USE Use Procision Advantage Professional Grade Container Media as a primary growing medium or add it to your custom mixes. It contains bacteria that enhance nutrient uptake and mycorrhizae that increase root biomass and help containerized plants withstand stress. It also contains a 'Humalite' form of leonardite from a freshwater peat source.

How to use

• Lime to raise pH before use — add 5-10 lb of dolomitic lime per cubic yard to bring pH to 5.8-6.5
• Mix with perlite (30-50%) and other amendments to create custom substrates
• Moisten peat before mixing — dry peat is hydrophobic and resists initial wetting
• Use a wetting agent in the first waterings to achieve uniform saturation throughout the peat block
• Store unused bale in a dry, covered place to prevent contamination and moisture loss
