Bluelab pH Replacement Electrode KIT

The Bluelab pH Replacement Electrode KIT is the replacement electrode for your Bluelab pH meters. All pH probes wear out with use: when readings become slow, unstable, or the equipment no longer calibrates, the problem is almost never the meter but the electrode, and replacing it restores original accuracy.

How to Use

Disconnect the old electrode from the BNC connector, insert the new one, and twist it until it is secure. Calibrate the meter with pH 4.0 and 7.0 solutions before the first reading. Always store the probe with its cap and storage solution so the bulb does not dry out, and clean it regularly.

Instructions for Use

• Disconnect the equipment, remove the old probe from the BNC connector, and screw in the new one until it is firm.
• Before first use, remove the cap, rinse the tip with clean water, and shake off the excess; never dry it by rubbing it with a cloth.
• Calibrate the meter with pH 4.0 and pH 7.0 solutions following your Bluelab equipment's procedure, and repeat calibration periodically.
• Keep the tip always moist: between uses, store it with the cap on and a few drops of KCl storage solution.
• Do not let it dry out or immerse it in distilled or pure reverse osmosis water: it needs a solution with conductivity to read accurately.
• Clean the probe with the Bluelab pH care kit when readings become slow or unstable.
