Botanicare Ebb & Flow Screen Fitting

Internal threads that accept standard 3/4 in pipe thread. Use them as connectors for ebb and flow systems and as bulkheads. Greater versatility: thread PVC pipe connectors into the bulkheads; ideal for aeroponic and drip irrigation applications.

How to use

• Thread the fitting into the perforation of the tray or reservoir until it is firm, without forcing the thread.
• Leave the screen on the tray side, facing upwards, to filter loose substrate.
• If you need to extend the line, thread 3/4 in PVC fittings into the internal thread.
• Check filling and drainage in the first cycles: if the tray drains slowly, the screen is dirty.
• Remove the screen and rinse it with pressurized water; for limescale, soak it in a mild acid solution and rinse again.
• Store the parts clean and dry, out of direct sunlight, so that the plastic does not become brittle.
