GH pH 4.01 Calibration Solution Quart

Calibration solutions for General Hydroponics® meters. General Hydroponics® uses the highest quality reference solutions, allowing growers to calibrate many popular brands of pH, EC, and TDS meters (NaCl scale or 442 scale). General Hydroponics® technicians check each batch to ensure that our solutions are accurately calibrated and provide reliable readings every time they are used.

• Used in conjunction with pH 7.01 solution for two-point calibration.

How to Use

• Pour a portion of the solution into a clean glass; never put the electrode into the original container.
• Rinse the electrode with distilled water and shake off excess before submerging.
• Submerge the tip in the 4.01 solution, wait for the reading to stabilize, and adjust the meter to 4.01 according to its manual.
• For greater accuracy, perform two-point calibration: first pH 7.01 and then pH 4.01.
• Discard the used portion; do not return it to the container to avoid contaminating the rest.
• Close the cap tightly and store the container at room temperature, away from direct sunlight. Calibrate with the solution at the same temperature as the water you are going to measure.
