Descripción del producto
Grodan Stonewool (rockwool) is made from molten rock spun into cotton candy-like fibers and then compressed into cubes, blocks, or panels. While other rockwool brands cut all sizes from the same batch of wool, Grodan is unique in that it manufactures different types of fiber. The purpose is to meet the plant's requirements at its different stages. Grodan has an enormous capacity to absorb nutrient solution while retaining enough oxygen for rapid growth. Grodan comes in graduated sizes. Seedlings started in cubes are easily transferred to blocks and then to panels, if desired. Seedlings or cuttings started in Grodan cubes can also be transplanted into more traditional pots and growing media. Grodan blocks: Grodan Delta blocks are the most uniform blocks available on the market. They feature improved grooves at the base to promote better drainage. They are available in a wide assortment of sizes and configurations to suit all types of plants. These growing blocks are used for direct sowing or for blocking on plants grown in Macro and Multiblock. AO 36/40 plugs fit well into the holes provided by the blocks. The blocks can then be placed on a panel to provide a larger growing volume. Hugo is the largest of the growing blocks. It offers enough growing volume to support a larger plant, so it does not need to be placed on a panel. Note: the new box size is 64
