Grodan Improved pre-cut Gro-Slabs offer a wide range of control for managing cultivation through irrigation strategies. Thanks to the Advanced Wetting Agent, these Gro-Slabs achieve a more uniform distribution of WC and EC within each slab and between slabs. Rapid rooting and vigorous growth throughout the entire cultivation cycle improve plant health, increase resistance, and boost yields. The improved slab structure and its physical properties ensure rapid re-saturation within a wide management range.

The Advanced Wetting Agent present in all Grodan Improved Gro-Slabs results in a more uniform water distribution throughout the slab. As the slab always maintains sufficient moisture, the risk of plants drying out is minimized. The improved capillary action of the Gro-Slabs also ensures that moisture is retained more evenly throughout the slab.
Easy irrigation
The properties of all Grodan Improved Gro-Slabs allow for a versatile irrigation strategy, as the grower can vary the water volume within a safe range of 55% to 78% (daytime level). If insufficient water was supplied, the slab can be quickly re-saturated at any desired time. And if too much water was applied, the slab's properties ensure that the excess drains efficiently to prevent the WC from rising too high.

How to use
- Soak the slab in pH-adjusted water (5.5–6.0) for 1–2 hours before planting
- Make a 2 in cut at the low end of each slab for drainage before saturating
- Place drip stakes over the planting holes — typically 2 drippers per hole
- Irrigate frequently using high-frequency cycles to maintain optimal moisture and EC
- Do not reuse slabs between cycles — recycle them through a certified rockwool recycling program
