GROW!T Perlite is a versatile, inert soil amendment and soilless medium. Use to aerate soil in potting mixes, for seed starting and propagation, for rooting cuttings, and as a hydroponic medium. Hydrofarm searched worldwide and went to great lengths to find a top-quality source of perlite, and succeeded—what we found is offered in the GROW!T perlite product line. Various grades available: Perlite #2 (1/16" - 5/8" granules), Perlite #3 (1/8" - 5/8" granules), Perlite #4 (1/3" - 3/4" granules), and Perlite #8 (3/4"-1 1/3" granules).

How to use

• Mix 20-50% perlite by volume into substrate or coco coir for improved drainage and aeration
• For hydroponic use: rinse before use and fill pots for excellent root oxygenation
• Dampen before mixing to reduce dust — wear a mask when working with dry perlite in enclosed spaces
• Reusable between crops — rinse and sterilize with a 10% hydrogen peroxide solution between cycles
• Store in a dry location — perlite is inert and does not expire, but should be kept clean and dry
