GROW!T Perlite Grade #2, Super Coarse, 4 cu ft

GROW!T Perlite is a versatile, inert soil amendment, and also a soilless growing medium. Use it to aerate container media, for seed germination and propagation, for rooting cuttings, and as a hydroponic medium. Hydrofarm searched worldwide and went to great lengths to find a superior source of perlite, and we succeeded: what we found is offered in the GROW!T perlite product line. Available in several grades: Perlite #2 (1/16" - 5/8" granules), Perlite #3 (1/8" - 5/8" granules), Perlite #4 (1/3" - 3/4" granules) and Perlite #8 (3/4"-1 1/3" granules).

How to use

• Mix into media at 10–30% by volume to improve drainage and aeration
• Wet perlite before mixing to reduce dust—lightly mist before handling
• Wear a mask when handling dry perlite—silica dust is a respiratory hazard
• Rinse perlite before use in drip hydroponic systems to remove fine dust particles
• Store in a dry location—reseal bag to keep perlite clean between uses
