Hortilux LU400 S/HTL/EN

The Eye Hortilux Super HPS LU400S/HTL/EN bulb is a 400W high-pressure sodium lamp designed for indoor cultivation, especially for the flowering stage. Its spectrum has been adjusted to deliver more useful energy than a standard HPS of the same wattage.

How to use

Screw the bulb into a reflector with a 400W HPS ballast, without touching the glass with your fingers: use a clean cloth. Turn it on cold and allow about 15 minutes for it to reach full output. Adjust the reflector height according to the growth stage and do not repeatedly turn it on and off.

Instructions for use

• Confirm that your ballast is 400 W and suitable for HPS lamps before installing it.
• Screw the lamp into the mogul socket with the equipment disconnected and cold.
• Handle with gloves or a clean cloth: finger grease creates hot spots on the bulb.
• Allow it to cool completely before moving or replacing it.
• Change the lamp when you notice a drop in intensity, even if it still turns on.
• Dispose of it as special waste; do not break it or throw it in common trash.
