Hydrofarm 60-Degree Angled Drip Stake

The angled stakes hold the 1/4" tubing firmly in a way that virtually eliminates kinks and blockages. The angle of the stake follows the natural curve of the rubber hose. The hose can become constricted when forced into a 90-degree turn. By using a 60-degree angle, these blockages are avoided. These 60-degree angled stakes provide smoother water delivery from the connected hose than other stakes. It prevents mineral deposits from forming where the hose connects to the stake. Ideal for short lengths of hose that point directly down to planting sites. Prevents hose kinking.

How to Use

• Insert the stake into the growing medium, at the edge of the root zone
• Connect the 1/4 inch tubing to the stake's inlet — push fully onto the barb
• Angle the stake so that the water is directed towards the center of the root zone
• Flush the system weekly to prevent salt buildup at the dripper's outlet
• Replace if the outlet becomes clogged and cannot be cleared by flushing
