Hydrofarm Disposable Scalpel

The Hydrofarm Disposable Scalpel is a sterile disposable scalpel for making cuttings and propagation work with clean cuts. Unlike scissors, the scalpel blade cuts without crushing the stem tissue, so the cutting experiences less stress and roots with a better prognosis.

How to use

Remove the sheath, hold the handle firmly, and cut the stem at an angle, just below a node. Use a new blade for each mother plant or as soon as you notice it has lost its edge, and dispose of the used scalpel in a rigid container to avoid accidental cuts. Sold individually.
