The Ideal-Air 4-inch Butterfly Hose Clamp is used to secure flexible ducting to the collar of an exhaust fan, a carbon filter, a silencer, or a cooled reflector. It comes in a 2-pack and is made of heavy-duty stainless steel.

How to use

Pass the clamp through the duct before fitting it over the equipment collar. Slide the duct a few centimeters over the collar, position the clamp just over the overlap area, and turn the butterfly until it is firm. Check the tightening after the first few hours of operation, once the duct has settled.

How to Use

• Slide the clamp over the flexible duct before connecting it to the fan or filter flange
• Insert the duct completely into the flange and then place the clamp in the overlap area
• Lower the butterfly-type lever to the closed position to tighten the clamp around the duct
• Verify that the clamp is firm and that the duct connection is airtight
• Wipe it dry with a cloth after each grow cycle to prevent rust in high humidity environments
