PhotoBio Advanced Quantum PAR Meter

The Phantom PHOTOBIO Advanced Quantum PAR meter offers accurate and economical measurement for any light source used in horticultural applications. The Advanced Quantum PAR meter is designed to measure PAR (photosynthetically active radiation) flux at wavelengths from 400 to 700nm. There is a positive proportional relationship between the amount of photons absorbed in the 400 to 700nm band and the rate of photosynthesis, which is key to maximizing crop yield.

It includes a compact main unit, remote sensor, two connection cables (one short coiled & one long 12' straight), AAA batteries, and a protective carrying case. It allows for storing up to 99 measurements for easy reference when adjusting luminaire height, dimmer settings, and other environmental changes at each growth stage.

How to Use

• Hold the meter's sensor level at canopy height to measure PPFD at that point
• Take multiple readings across the canopy to identify hot spots and low light zones
• Use the DLI log to track cumulative light dose and fine-tune photoperiod settings
• Keep the sensor lens clean and free of dust, water, and nutrient residue
• Store it in its protective case when not in use to prevent sensor damage
