Arugula Seeds

Arugula or rocket is not a popular or widely used crop in Latin America as it is of Mediterranean origin. This leafy vegetable grows in bunches that reach about 20-50cm in height; it resembles lettuce but with long, lobed, and open leaves. It has been consumed since the time of the Roman Empire and is characterized by its distinctive, wild, and spicy flavor. It is ideal for making dressings, pesto-like sauces, or simply as a complement to salads, sandwiches, or pizzas. This herb, rich in vitamin C and potassium, could become a garden favorite due to its ease of cultivation; its beautiful white flowers, young seed pods, and mature seeds are also edible.

How to Use

• Harvest outer leaves regularly or cut the entire plant 1 inch above the ground to allow regrowth
• Store unused seeds in a sealed container in a cool, dry, and dark place
