Broccoli Rosalin Seeds

Rosalin Broccoli seeds are for an open-pollinated purple broccoli, considered one of the best of its kind. It forms medium-sized heads, about 20 cm wide, with an intense purple color that remains if cooked lightly steamed and turns green with longer cooking times. It is an attractive and tasty alternative to regular green broccoli.

How to use

Start seeds in a seedbed or tray 4 to 6 weeks before transplanting. Place them in full sun, in soil rich in organic matter and well-drained, with 45 to 60 cm between plants. Water evenly, as consistent moisture is key for proper head formation. Cut the main head with the buds still closed and leave the plant standing to take advantage of the side shoots.
