Product Details Xtrasun Metal Halide (MH) conversion bulbs allow you to switch to a Metal Halide (MH) lamp without needing to switch to an MH ballast. Conversion bulbs are very convenient options when space for other types of ballasts and fixtures is limited. These conversion bulbs are specifically designed for use with magnetic and electronic ballasts and, with their 7200° Kelvin color temperature, consistently deliver intense light in the correct spectral range for vigorous vegetative growth. Instructions for use
- Confirm your ballast is 600 W before installing the bulb
- Handle with clean gloves or a cloth: finger grease creates hot spots and shortens lifespan
- Screw into the mogul socket with the ballast off and unplugged, without forcing the thread
- Respect the operating position indicated by your reflector and leave free space for ventilation
- Wait for it to cool completely before handling; clean the glass with a dry cloth or one slightly dampened with alcohol
- Replace it when you notice a drop in intensity and store spare parts in their box, in a dry place and without bumps
