5 gal Spigot

The Athena 5 gal Spigot is a dispensing tap that attaches to the brand's 5-gallon containers for spill-free nutrient pouring. It replaces the container lid and allows you to control the flow with the lever, making work in the mixing area much cleaner and more precise.

How to use

Remove the lid from the 5-gallon container and replace it with the spigot, hand-tightening until secure. Place the container on a stable surface with a clear outlet and open the lever to dispense the desired amount. Rinse the spigot with clean water when changing products to prevent residue and crystallization in the valve.

Instructions for use

• Drill a hole of the correct size and at the desired height in the bucket wall, according to the spigot specification
• Insert the spigot and press the rubber gasket against the inside of the bucket for a watertight seal
• Test for leaks before filling the bucket with nutrient solution
• Rinse the spigot with clean water after each use to prevent mineral buildup in the valve
• Replace if the lever becomes stiff or if the gasket starts to leak
