Active Aqua Reservoir Cover, Black, 50 gal

The Active Aqua Reservoir Cover, Black, 50 gal is the 50-gallon hydroponic reservoir cover from the Active Aqua line. It closes the tank and blocks light from reaching the nutrient solution, which helps slow down algae formation, while also reducing evaporation and preventing dust, leaves, or insects from falling into the reservoir.

Benefits

• Made of high-impact, UV-resistant ABS plastic.
• Slightly convex and ribbed design: gains rigidity and drains accumulated water.
• Access port for checking the reservoir without removing the entire lid (port cover sold separately).
• Rounded corners facilitate cleaning and disinfection between cycles.
• Low profile, designed to work under flood tables and other hydroponic systems.

How to Use

Place the lid on the edge of the 50-gallon Active Aqua reservoir with the convex side facing up. Use the port to run hoses, the pump cable, and pH or EC probes, and only drill where you need to mount an accessory. Wash with water and mild, solvent-free soap at the end of each cycle.
