AFW Screen Fitting w / fixed 3" Riser

The Screen Fitting w/ fixed 3" Riser is the overflow piece for flood tables and ebb & flow systems. It combines the 3" riser tube and the screen in a single fixed piece: the riser defines the maximum height the solution reaches in the table, and the mesh prevents roots, perlite, or substrate debris from returning to the tank and clogging the pump.

How to use

Install it over the drain connection at the bottom of the table, on the overflow side, and ensure it is vertical and securely fitted. Fill the table with the pump and check that the water begins to overflow just as it reaches the height of the riser. Clean the screen between cycles so that the return is never restricted.

How to Use

• Replace it if the filter mesh is broken or the connection cracks
