Athena Balance is a simple potassium silicate formula, specifically concentrated to buffer irrigation water and stabilize it at the ideal pH. Additionally, silicon benefits plant growth, stem structure, stress reduction, water usage (osmoregulation), and nutrient uptake.
Commercial growers see better results, especially with reverse osmosis (RO) water, when they buffer with Athena Balance first. Pure RO water has an unstable chemical structure that can trap other nutrients if added without a buffer. Athena Balance provides just enough to the water to create a more homogeneous fertilizer solution and reduce the need for pH adjustment after mixing.
The formula is sediment-free and compatible with mechanical dosing systems (Dosatron). Athena Balance is not recommended for electronic dosing systems (Netafim).

How to use
- Add 0.5-2 ml per gallon to gradually raise the pH of the nutrient solution
- Stir thoroughly and re-measure pH after each addition before further adjustment
- Always add to a diluted nutrient solution — never directly to concentrated nutrients
- Store at room temperature in a sealed container, away from direct sunlight
- Handle with care — concentrated pH up solutions can be caustic
