CAP 12X10" White Coated Reducer

The C.A.P. 12X10" White Coated Reducer is a duct reducer that connects a 12" outlet to a 10" line in ventilation and extraction systems for indoor cultivation. It is constructed from galvanized steel with a white powder coating, a finish that resists the corrosion typical of a humid and hot environment like a grow room.

How to use

Fit the 12" end into the opening of the extractor, filter, or larger duct, and the 10" end into the continuing line. Secure each joint with a clamp and seal the perimeter with aluminum tape to prevent air and odor leaks. Check that the flexible duct is stretched, without tight bends that would restrict the flow.

Instructions for use

• Identify the 12-inch end and the 10-inch end according to the equipment and duct you are connecting.
• Fit each duct onto the corresponding end of the reducer.
• Secure both joints with metal clamps and seal with aluminum tape if airtightness is needed.
• Avoid sharp bends just before or after the reducer: they reduce the extractor's flow.
• Keep in mind that reducing the diameter increases air speed and noise; dimension the extractor with this in mind.
• Clean dust with a dry cloth and check for dents or rust spots during each maintenance.
