The Green Gold Straight Connector White Powder Coated, 4" is a 4" straight connector for joining two sections of duct in your ventilation or extraction system. It is the piece that allows you to extend a run or connect the duct to an extractor, a carbon filter, or a hood without losing airflow at the joint.

How to use

Slide one end of the 4" duct over each side of the connector and secure it with metal clamps or aluminum tape. Keep the duct as straight as possible and avoid sharp bends near the joint, as they reduce the extractor's airflow. Check the seal after the first few hours of operation and readjust if necessary.

How to use

• Slide each end of the duct over the connector until it is completely covered.
• Secure each side with a clamp and tighten evenly, without deforming the metal.
• Seal the joint with aluminum tape to prevent air and odor leaks.
• Keep the section as straight as possible: each curve reduces the extractor's airflow.
• Check the tightness of the clamps periodically, especially if the extractor vibrates.
• Clean dust with a dry cloth and store it in a dry place to prevent the finish from pitting.
