CAP Hose End Plug, 1/2" w/3/4" CAP

The 1/2" CAP Hose End Plug with 3/4" CAP is the plug that closes the end of a 1/2" irrigation line. It works by compression over the hose and comes with a 3/4" threaded cap that you can open when you need to purge the line.

How to use

Cut the 1/2" hose squarely and clean the edge. Push the plug onto the tubing, rotating slightly until it bottoms out and is snug. To purge, remove the 3/4" cap, let the water run for a few seconds with the system on, and close it again before the next irrigation.

Instructions for use

• Cut the hose squarely, without leaving the edge crushed or torn
• Insert the plug into the end of the 1/2 inch line until it stops
• Place the 3/4 cap and hand-tighten it, without forcing it or using tools
• Turn on the irrigation at low pressure and check the connection before leaving the system to work alone
• Periodically remove the cap and let water run to flush out sediment from the end of the branch
• Store spare plugs dry and protected from direct sunlight
