EcoPlus Air Diffuser, 4FT

The EcoPlus Air Diffuser, 4FT is a 4FT flexible diffuser hose that distributes air from your pump into fine bubbles throughout the entire reservoir. Its micropore design oxygenates and moves the nutrient solution, which is essential in DWC, RDWC, and hydroponic reservoir systems, where dissolved oxygen defines root health.

How to use

Connect the diffuser to the output of your air pump with a 3/16 inch hose and place it at the bottom of the reservoir; you can curve it or close it into a ring to better distribute the bubbles. Keep the pump above the water level or install a non-return valve. Rinse the diffuser with each solution change to prevent the pores from clogging.

Instructions for use

• Connect the air hose to the barbed inlet end and submerge the diffuser in the reservoir
• Place a weight or anchor the diffuser to keep it at the bottom of the reservoir
• Use with an air pump of adequate capacity — ensure the flow rate covers the 4 ft length
• Soak monthly in diluted citric acid or white vinegar to dissolve mineral deposits inside
• Replace when bubble output significantly reduces despite cleaning
