Requires a 400 W HPS ballast: does not connect directly to the power supply.

How to Use

Confirm your ballast is for 400 W HPS before installing the bulb.
Handle it with clean gloves or a cloth: finger grease creates hot spots that shorten its life.
Screw it into the mogul lamp holder without forcing, until it is firm.
Allow a few minutes for warming up until it reaches full brightness and avoid switching it on and off consecutively.
Clean the glass when cool with a dry cloth periodically: dust reduces the light reaching the plants.
Replace it when you notice a decrease in brightness or a change in color, even if it still turns on. Store the replacement in its box, in a dry place.
