Ultra Sun® high-pressure sodium (HPS) lamps have a color temperature of 2000° K, ideal for the fruiting and flowering stages of plants. It is also an excellent lamp for the entire plant growth cycle. These lamps were designed specifically for horticultural applications. Ultra Sun® lamps are high-quality, feature robust construction, and offer excellent reliability at an economical price.

How to Use
- Install it in a 400 W HPS ballast: it does not connect directly to the current.
- Handle it by the base or with a clean cloth, as grease marks on the glass shorten its lifespan.
- Screw it into the mogul lamp holder without forcing it, until it is firm.
- Hang it at the height recommended by your reflector and check the temperature at the canopy height of the plants.
- Allow it a few minutes to warm up to full brightness and avoid repeated on/off cycles.
- Clean it cold with a dry cloth and replace it when the brightness noticeably drops. Store the replacement in its box, in a dry place.
