Technical Specifications
- Horti-Control LF series mechanical flip-flop, model LF-2.
- 2-input, 4-output configuration: alternates two ballasts between four lamps.
- Direct connection (plug and play), no complicated wiring.
- Compatible with magnetic (core and coil) and digital ballasts.
- Heavy-duty, rust-proof aluminum chassis.
- Piggyback trigger cable: allows chaining additional controllers.
How to use
- Connect the output of each ballast to the inputs of the flip box and the lamps to the four outputs.
- Plug the trigger cable into a timer or lighting controller: this is what commands the switch from one set of lamps to the other.
- Program the timer so that while one pair of lamps is working, the other rests.
- Before energizing, verify that the power and voltage of your ballasts and lamps match those of the equipment.
- Never connect or disconnect lamps with the system energized: first turn off the ballast.
- Install it in a dry and ventilated place, away from drips and the irrigation line, and clean dust from the chassis with a dry cloth.
