Phantom II CMh Ceramic Metal Halide Digital Ballast, 315W, 120V/240V

The Phantom 315W CMh ballast is a low-frequency, square-wave, remote-operating digital ballast specifically designed for the 315W ceramic metal halide lamp, which can be used with equal effectiveness in both vegetative growth and flowering. It features internal RF shielding, multi-aspect protection circuits, and versatile 120/208/240V input voltage. Like all ballasts in the Phantom family, the CMh 315 ballast is quiet, reliable, and energy efficient. It can be easily wall-mounted near the reflector and can be installed up to 30' away from the reflector using our optional lamp cord extensions. It includes an 8' 120V power cord, operating instructions, and a three-year warranty. Phantom 315W Features: Low-frequency square wave technology provides much greater current stability and consistency in output levels, as well as low acoustic resonance. Lamp ignition distance of up to 30': separate the ballast from your reflector up to 30' away if necessary (optional lamp cord extensions may be required). Multi-voltage capability: can operate at 120V or 240V. Multi-aspect protection circuits: include protection against short circuit, open circuit, overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, hot lamp startup, electrical shocks, overheating, lamp failure, and lamp end-of-life warning. *Important: hot restrike can take up to 15 minutes. The lamp takes longer to cool down because it has two layers of glass. Allow enough time for ignition. Philips recommends not operating the lamp for less than 3 minutes, as this can cause ignition problems.

How to use

• Mount it on the wall, near the reflector, in a dry and ventilated place.
• First, connect the 315W CMh lamp to the ballast, then plug the ballast into the power outlet.
• If you need to separate the ballast further from the reflector, use lamp cord extensions, up to a maximum of 30 feet.
• Verify that the outlet corresponds to the voltage you will be using (120, 208, or 240 V).
• Do not cover it or place it on surfaces that accumulate heat; leave clear space around the cabinet.
• Unplug it from the power outlet before changing the lamp and clean dust from the cabinet with a dry cloth.
